Crochet Cardigan
From Thread to Form.
This cardigan was made with bamboo yarn to enhance the tulip stitch along the arm. The standard acrylic yarn would have hidden the flowers, but bamboo gave the design space to bloom. My mother loves flowers and is always filling her garden with new finds, so I created this piece with her in mind.
Final Gifting.
A Postcard for the cardigan gifted for Mother’s Day in May 2025. The center illustration, hand drawn using Adobe Procreate, captures my childhood bug hunts in summer dresses with my mom, who was an entomologist then.
